It's simple......Clinical research is all about the data.  Sponsors want the best investigative sites performing clinical trials to ensure the best subject data.  Quality sites provide experienced, qualified, GCP trained personnel with the necessary subject population for study enrollment.

With top recruiting sites performing multiple trials concurrently, and then entering data into various sponsor electronic data capture systems, data entry becomes a burden on their staff.  This activity can set back timelines for data analysis with the sponsor.  Clearly, the preference of the investigative sites is subject treatment rather than data entry.  This is where accuracy can become a problem.
